Our Arabic Language was designed for 4th grade students. This book has been prepared with the idea that Arabic is a human science and orientation of literature and aesthetics are important in its study. Students are instructed to silently read the text, to provide their own analysis by answering questions, to understand vocabulary meanings, and to write efficient text based upon their understanding.
Through different activities which stimulate students’ new skills of speaking, listening, and conversing with other students, he/she benefits from the teaching-learning process. The use of language through out this book encourages student thinking and encourages interaction with the material by asking questions and giving opinions. This book contains texts from the Qur’an, ahadith, traditional sayings, Islamic history with consideration to the variety of national, religious, touristic, medical, agricultural, cultural, and scientific fields. This book comes in 2 parts with each part consisting of 10 lessons containing titles such as, Computer Age, Arabian Proverbs, Fadwa Touqan: a Poet from Palestine, Police Friends and other titles. Each lesson contains reading text, new vocabulary, linguistic phrases, writing exercises, conversation, and listening and chanting materials aimed at giving students a connect between theoretical and practical objectives.
